It takes a lot to be a "proper girl", let's face it. It's so much that I had to add it onto one of my resolutions in 2016. You're probably like, "what do you mean by being a proper girl?" My personal definition (this is just solely how I define it, and I couldn't find another better word to describe) of a proper girl is a girl who is clean, neat, smells good, great skin, great hair, great teeth, no facial hair, no hair 'underneath', no hair at all. There's just too much to cover but today I'm going to share with you 4 of my favourite daily body products for simple girl maintenance.

In all honesty, I had a fair amount of time to review the products from Handmade Heroes, and if you've been here long enough, you'd probably realise how much I love natural and vegan products - hence why 4 of these body products are from Handmade Heroes.

1) Super Duper Nourishing Rice Scrub Christmas Mint

First things first, scrubbing your body makes all the difference. It helps not only to make you feel good about yourself, but that it nourishes, smoothens out the skin and it improves the shine on your skin as well. The Christmas Mint Rice Scrub has to be my FAVOURITE (by favourite, I mean, I've finished my first tub in a span of 2 weeks) of all time. It smells amazing, it feels amazing and it leaves a satisfying and addictive mintiness/cooling effect on the skin.

2) Coco-Licious Luscious Lip Scrub

Chapped lips is definitely a NO-NO! I mean, sorry if I'm being mean, but how can you even apply matte lipstick when your lips are chapped? It's not the most flattering of looks and I cannot emphasize more on how important it is to find a good lip scrub that not only takes the flakiness away but also nourishes and almost leaves a layer of lip balm on your lips. Coco-licious does just that, it taste like coconut and sugar. Use a generous amount on your lips and do the same twice or three times a week.

3) Coco Friggin Fantastic Lip Tint

To be fair, this is not exactly the best lip tint I've tried - mainly because I usually go for something that has a cooling effect (like the Juicy Shaker from Lancome - which is honestly the most addicting thing in the world). But it does the job regardless - it has a very slight blamy tint, it's nourishing, it protects the lips - voila! Note: Always important to bring along a good lip tint/lip balm in your bag!

4) Drop Dead Gorgeous Dry Shampoo

Here's my opinion on using dry shampoos in Malaysia. It doesn't work more than a day for our weather. I've tried countless amount of dry shampoos, because I HATE washing my hair and almost none of it does the job for more than a day. Well, to be fair, I have really really thick hair, so yeah, maybe that's why. However, the challenge here is to find something that feels the best and smells the best - which is the Drop Dead Gorgeous Dry Shampoo. It has a minty scent and it dries up your scalp instantly - so if you happen to have a date night after a work out but don't want to wash your hair, this is DEFINITELY a good choice - because that's exactly what I do. However, if you want to skip a few days of not washing your hair, I don't think dry shampoo can help you man, you gotta pay someone to wash your hair for you.

Conclusion, always scrub and stay fresh! I'll also be talking about my 2017 resolutions soon, stay tuned :)
